ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

... is jewelry from Lauren G. Adams. Particularly, these two bangles.

There is something very Chloe-ish about them. Then again, anything equestrian-related immediately reminds me of Chloe.

You can buy them both online at Max&Chloe.

IT'S A SHEAR(LING) THING.

Loving this shearling jacket from Need Supply Co. And if it couldn't be more desirable than it already is, it's priced at just $74.00 USD. Adding to cart as write this...

SEQUINS AND SHEARLING AND SHINE, OH MY!

J. Crew is a brand that probably isn't recognizable to shoppers outside of the United States. They are an American retailer that started out in the early 80's specializing in American heritage-type clothing. Many would argue that J. Crew is an "overpriced GAP," however I think that may be a bit unfair. I've always found their clothing to be of great quality, and their stores are always my go-to place when I'm in need of those timeless preppy basics—think WASP-y crisp button down shirts, cashmere pullovers, or their giraffe print shorts which were a huge hit on the internet a couple seasons back.

J. Crew recently started a much higher-end line—"couture-quality designs," according to their website—titled J. Crew Collection. The collection is a limited edition, seasonally updated range featuring very luxurious details, and priced anywhere from $128 USD for a pencil skirt all the way up to $1850 USD for a shearling jacket. Visit J. Crew to view the entire range.

Here are my favorite pieces from their Fall 2010 lookbook.

BUDGET VS. LUXURY: THE CAMEL COAT EDITION

Get ready cause it's another round of BUDGET-VS.-LUXURY (cue game show music)! In this edition we have three very fabulous, very camel-colored looking coats. One retails for over $2,480, one is $449 and the last one is $120. Can you guess which is which?

From Left: H&M, Zara and Chloe.

The coat in the middle is from Zara and retails for $449. The first coat is from H&M and the last one is from Chloe. I'm sure you can figure out which one costs which amount on your own. I haven't had the chance to try it on yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing that H&M coat in the near future.

Here's a closer look.

OPENING CEREMONY

Loving these long, transparent dresses from the Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook They're great for layering, which means they're perfect for fall—especially here in Stockholm where the weather today was a balmy 9°C (that's 48°F). Time to break out those cable-knit leggings!

Maybe?

It's not often that I post anything regarding H&M (could I possibly be the only blogger out there that did not mention the Lanvin collab?), yet ever since I saw this dress online a couple days ago I've been obsessing over it.
Image via H&M
Maybe it's the 60s styling of the photo (I'm a sucker for anything remotely Bardot-ish), or maybe it's the color (nude-ish—my new favorite). Anyway, I can't decide if I should buy it or not. Part of me says "what is the big deal?" 299 SEK is a drop in the proverbial clothing bucket for me! And yet, another part of me says "skip it! Remember that Garden Collection dress you obsessed over? How many times have you worn that thing???"

Basically, H&M sizing is just weird on me. Some things run ridiculously too big for me, and some ridiculously too small. I'm sure some of you are wondering why I don't just go into the store and try the damn thing on. Well, I don't do trying on. End of story.

In the end I will probably cave in and buy it, after all it is just 299 SEK ... that, and my Moschino belt would look absolutely fabulous with it.

ASOS WHITE Silk Hitch Hem Shirt

Ugly Betty?

I am pretty much obsessed with ponchos at the moment. The weather is already turning cooler here in Stockholm and Fall is basically at my doorstep. I can't imagine anything else more cozy than wearing one of these ponchos with a little layering going on underneath.

Chanel DIY for Fall 2010

Image via Nylon

Nylon Magazine has a great article on their website on how to dupe CHANEL's upcoming nail polish collection being released at Fashion's Night Out. The collection, LES KHAKIS DE CHANEL, will contain three shades of—well, khaki—and are sure to sell out (remember last year's shade, Jade?). If you miss the opportunity to grab one of these colors before they're gone, or are the type of person that can't justify spending 25 bucks on a nail polish, then definitely check out this article!

Otherwise if you're like me and are a sucker for CHANEL nail polish (despite the not-so-great formula from time to time) then head to your local CHANEL store, CHANEL.com or select department stores on September 10th. See you there!

Sheep and (not) Cheap!

The sheepskin jacket. Priority number one on every fashionista's fall must-have list.
How do I love thee? Let me count the the ways ... in which I cannot afford you.

For me, Topshop gets it right again and again, and this is no exception. I absolutely love this jacket! Unfortunately at 325 GBP (over 500 USD) it is a bit out of my price range at the moment. Not only that, but I am somewhat hesitant to every pay that much for something from Topshop (nothing but love for you Topshop, but c'mon).

Lucky for me, there is an affordable alternative—also from Topshop.

At 58 GBP (under 100 bucks!) this jacket is a steal. Good thing I ordered it last week because it's already out of stock. Don't fret, Topshop frequently restocks their merchandise online, so keep check the website daily.

Acne Mapuche

I want these sandals. I need these sandals. To me, they look like the perfect everyday summer shoe. Not too tall, comfortable to walk in and yet very stylish. Poor Mapuches, I feel like they are the under-appreciated sibling of Acne's other "it" shoes—specifically the Pistol boots and Atacoma wedges (both of which I currently own, of course). Don't worry, you'll be finding a place in my home very soon (most likely on my staircase, because that's the only place left I have space to store my shoes. Safe, right?

WISTERIA Chiffon Tie Wedges

As soon as I saw these on Topshop.com I fell in love. Beautiful swede platforms to match my favorite shade of lipstick (MAC Russian Red, for reference)? I'm sold! Only thing is, I already own these shoes—in black and in pink. I think this love affair is starting to turn into an obsession.
