While everyone else is obsessing over what's being shown at Fashion Week (London and New York, respectively), I'm obsessing over these two pieces from the newly launched ASOS White Label.
I am a huge fan of Make Up For Ever, their HD foundation is probably my favorite foundation of all time. Their new collection for fall is titled Moulin Rouge, and is inspired by the infamous Parisian venue of the same name.
While I think this collection is fabulous, I can't help but wonder if the marketing for this campaign would have been better suited for holiday instead of fall. The red lipstick and gloss could definitely be everyday items for me, but when I see the over-the-top false eyelashes and Swaroski crystal jewels I can't help but think of Christmas or New Year's Eve parties—which I plan on buying for just such occasions.
Either way, the imagery is beautiful and I plan on picking up each item from the (small) collection. Unfortunately, Make Up For Ever is not available in Sweden (one of my biggest complaints since moving to this country), however you can order online from Guru Makeup Emporium and they will ship anywhere in the world!
Kicks finally launched an online shop on 25/08! The best part? They are carrying M.A.C! Now you can pick up the latest collection from M.A.C no matter where in Sweden you are living.
In case you have been living under a rock this past week, Acne has started rolling out some pieces from their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection—including the next "it" shoe, the Admire wedge.
Not sure if I'm going to invest in these. And with a retail price of 3,795 SEK, "invest" is definitely the right word to use. I already own the Atacoma wedges in grey and I just spent a pretty penny at Acne on Friday (Mapuche sandals are now living on my staircase). To be honest I kind of prefer the Sam Edelman/faux Balenciaga wedges that have been so popular over the last several years.
Of course as soon as I start seeing these on other blogs and they are at the point of selling-out, I will probably change my mind. ;-)
Sofi Fahrman's collaboration with JC was launched yesterday at select JC boutiques. I'm hoping to get the shorts with the blue and white stripe pockets—very cute.
As seen on Sofi Fahrman. Worn with Acne Shy Silk Tank and Bottega Veneta bag.
