THINGS GET HECTIC QUICK

Beginning like—yesterday, my blog posts will be a little on the sporadic side. I've recently taken on more writing assignments with Runway Passport and we are currently moving into our new apartment, so my hours are kind of all over the place. Case in point, it is nearly two in the morning here in Stockholm and I've just now been able to get to my computer today. I've got some posts lined up so hopefully I can knock a couple out tomorrow morning for your reading pleasure.

In the mean time please bear with me, my lovely readers!

TTFN,

Andie

Hi Andie, just read your comment (on my blog - polka dot) and had to respond: I so agree! I know I can't reply to everyone but I do try. It's so hit & miss with me because when I comment they tend to be really long - which is why I took forever to go on twitter (which is great discipline for someone like me).

I'm only glancing quickly at your blog so I don't know if this shot is of you but whether it's you or someone else- I love it!

It's funny: I felt the same way when I started blogging and then started discovering other blogs. The blog 'stars' - some, not all of them - could also get really.. how can I say it. They'd make this pretence of being really friendly with 'everyone' that commented but they'd do this thing where they'd comment back to some of their friends and ignore others - like me. I started doing a deliberate thing where I'd comment on certain blogs and just kind of play this game to see if they'd respond: either on my blog or on their own posts. They didn't, of course. It really helped me choose who I wanted to spend virtual time with and who I didn't.

Funny that you're scandinavian: I have an ex-friend (I love saying that!) who I had done everything for, to launch her blog. It's a self style blog - she's scandinavian, no names but you might know who I mean - I used to do her photography, did her logo, really promoted her, got her a following.. and she was just such a nightmare. But it was a fascinating process to see that there really are people out there who want to be famous. That's all it is: they just want other women to envy them for their 'beauty' and expensive clothes. And the sad thing was, she wasn't even beautiful, ultimately: it took way too many photos to get one she'd let me post. She didn't want her real (hard) self to come thru.

Okay it's official: this is my longest comment! But what you said really resonated. Thanks for your support, good luck with your two jobs - I won't be offended if I don't hear from you for a while, but hope you'll be back when you have time. xx

OMG best comment ever!? Haha. I'm actually not Scandinavian—I'm an American stuck in Sweden!

I haven't blogged now since December, I guess I was just feeling a little "uninspired," if you will. I feel like with a lot of the blogs I frequent I just see the same things regurgitated over and over—and well, I got over it! Stockholm Fashion week just ended and I'm starting to feel the fashion bug bite again, so I think more posts are in order.

Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about certain bloggers, and I'm so happy you took the time to leave me a message. I think it was the kick-in-the-ass I needed to start updating again.
