Inspiration

If I could pick one celebrity closet to raid it would undoubtedly be Sienna Miller's. No other celebrity (Chloe Sevigny, Kate Moss and the Olsen twins come close) has defined style the way that she has or single-handedly started more fashion trends than her over the last several years. Whether she is attending a film premiere or just strolling down the street, she always seems so effortlessly chic and well put together.

Who could forget her hair and those outfits in Alfie?

Who else could have portrayed Edie Sedgwick so perfectly in Factory Girl

Although she may get knocked around in the press for her personal life shenanigans, no one can deny she is a beautiful and talented woman (if you haven't seen her in Interview then go watch it now).

I really didn't mean for this post to be an Ode to Sienna, in all actuality I wanted to talk about a blogger that inspires me the same way Sienna does. Emma Elwin works as an assistant stylist for Elin Kling, and much of what is in my closet (and on my staircase) is influenced by her blog. Her posts are written in Swedish but she always includes plenty of detailed pictures, so even if you aren't fluent in the language you'll get the gist of it.

Take for example this post about—you guessed it—Sienna Miller.

Love it!

I already own the shoes but I've been looking for a jacket and biker jeans similar to those pictured and now I know exactly where to find them.

Anyhow, if you haven't already please check out her blog. I'm sure you'll be inspired as well.
