BUDGET VS. LUXURY: PRETTY IN PINK

 With vibrant colors making a big return this Spring, it's no wonder Jil Sander has been on the lips of nearly every fashion blogger the past month or so. Raf Simmons sent a wave of rainbow colors down the S/S2011 catwalk for the house that Jil built.

One of my favorite pieces are these bright pink trousers, which you can find at NET-A-PORTER and will cost you a cool $595 (that's U.S. dollars).

Fabulous? Of course, but they are slightly out of my budget range at the moment. You know what else is fabulous? These awesome looking pants from ZARA that will only set you back around $60. 

The choice is yours.

BUDGET VS. LUXURY: THE CAMEL COAT EDITION

Get ready cause it's another round of BUDGET-VS.-LUXURY (cue game show music)! In this edition we have three very fabulous, very camel-colored looking coats. One retails for over $2,480, one is $449 and the last one is $120. Can you guess which is which?

The coat in the middle is from Zara and retails for $449. The first coat is from H&M and the last one is from Chloe. I'm sure you can figure out which one costs which amount on your own. I haven't had the chance to try it on yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing that H&M coat in the near future.

PATTERNED PANTS

Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to snag me a pair of these awesome patterned leggings/pants from H&M's Arizona Dream editorial. Thankfully, there are two other options out there I just stumbled on.


First up are these patterned leggings from Acne. I first noticed them when I saw a picture of Caroline wearing them. Honestly, I think I prefer these to the ones from H&M.

The second pair are for those of you who can't come to grips with shelling out almost $200 (1195 SEK) for a pair of leggings. They are from Swedish retailer Gina Tricot and are available in two colors.

That's all I've found for now, but I'll update this post if I find any more look-alikes!

Budget vs. Luxury

What better way to celebrate this Fall's fur/shearling trend than in a fur trapper hat? Not only will you be rocking one of the season's most popular trends, but you'll be cozy and warm because it's perfectly practical.

On the left, Acne's sheepskin version retails for 2,495 SEK (over 350 USD). The one on the right sells for a little over 250 SEK (about 35 USD) and comes from Topshop. Whichever one you choose, pair this playful hat with a chunky knitted sweater, skinny jeans and some motorcycle boots to avoid the Elmer Fudd comparisons.

Budget vs. Luxury

If you're looking for some elastic sandals this year, two options come from Topshop and Acne. Both are cute, simple and will look great with a maxi dress. Of course, the biggest difference is the price. The Acne Strain retail for 1495 SEK (190 USD) while the Topshop sandals go for around 320 SEK (50 USD).
